The secondary 5 Chemistry course is offered in two options during the summer session; as a retake or as a full course.
To register for this course, as a retake, the student must have previously taken the course.
To register for this course, in full course format, the student must have previously passed the Environmental science and technology course or the Environmental science of secondary 4 .

This group course is 3 weeks long, for a total of 45 hours of online teaching.
From July 9th to July 26th: 45 hours of class, from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. everyday. Each class will be recorded and made available to students for review purposes. This period will be an opportunity to review all essential knowledge.
The platform used is simple and user-friendly, in addition to being accessible from a computer or a digital tablet. These are not pre-recorded lectures, but a live stream with a qualified and experienced teacher. The student will be able to ask the teacher questions during the lesson, just as he will be called upon to interact and participate actively in the class. The teacher rigorously monitors your child’s attendance, effort and participation. You will receive regular updates to inform you about the progression of your child in the class.
This course is intended for students currently enrolled in any Quebec francophone high school who have not successfully completed their course or who wish to consolidate their learning.
The registration deadline for this course is July 8th, 2024.
The deadline for a cancellation with a full refund is July 8th, 2024 at 4:00 pm.In order to receive a full refund the parent must submit the student's final report card that shows a passing grade. A penalty of $125 will be applied to any cancellations without proof of successful completion. Cancellations after 4:01 pm on July 8th 2024 will not be refunded.
The final exams will be completed remotely and will use the online monitoring platform Nexam. The final exams require the use of a laptop or desktop computer ONLY. Tablets are not supported for the final exams. It is the parents responsibility to provide access to a computer with updated Google Chrome web browser for optimal functionality.
