We offer History classes for secondary 1 to 4 students .
The secondary 4 History of Quebec and Canada course is offered as a retake. Therefore, to register for this course, the student must have previously taken the course.
Tutoring blocks are available to accompany students in grades 1 to 3e in their history class.

087-103 - Portfolio evaluation
Secondary 1 Exam only
Portfolio evaluations are intended for students who are 18 years old or younger during the current school year (until June 30, 2026).
This service only includes the evaluation of the portfolio by a Quebec-certified teacher of the Secondary 1 History course for learners registered at the Direction de l’enseignement à la maison (DEM).
The deadline for submission of the portfolio is June 5th, 2026.
The deadline for a cancellation with a full refund is March 27th, 2026 at 4:00 pm. Cancellations after 4:01 pm on March 27th, 2026 will not be refunded.
The evaluation includes a detailed and commented evaluation grid for the portfolio. Each competency will be evaluated and commented separately to ensure the parent has the proper feedback for the year-long evaluation. Succes Scolaire will also declare the final grade to the Minister of Education after the evaluation grid has been returned to the parent.
Succes Scolaire will not advise on or create the learning project that the portfolio is based on.
We recommend that you utilize the DEM as a resource in the creation of your learning project and in organizing the contents of your portfolio to make sure that it conforms to the expectations of the DEM. Succès Scolaire will only evaluate a completed portfolio based on the traces shown in the portfolio based on competencies of each course.
It is not possible to have a subject portfolio evaluated with a ministerial examination.

Secondary 3 Online group lessons
These courses are intended for students aged 18 years or younger during the current school year (until June 30, 2026), in accordance with youth sector regulations.
This group course is 3 weeks long, for a total of 45 hours online teaching.
From July 7th to July 24th: 45 hours of online classes, from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM. These classes will be recorded and made available to students for review purposes. This period will provide an opportunity to revisit all essential knowledge.
The platform used is simple and user-friendly, and accessible on both computers and tablets. The course cannot be taken on a smartphone. These are not pre-recorded video lessons but live classes offered by a qualified and experienced teacher (synchronous mode). Your child will be able to ask questions during class, and will also be expected to interact and participate actively. The teacher rigorously monitors your child’s attendance, effort and participation. You will receive regular updates to inform you about the progression of your child in the class.
This course is intended for students currently enrolled in any Quebec francophone high school who have not successfully completed their course or who wish to consolidate their learning. For students who finished the last school year with a grade of under 50%, we strongly suggest and recommend that you register your child to one of our individual tutoring blocks to ensure his success.
The registration deadline for this course is July 6th, 2026 subject to space availability.
All cancellations must be made before 4:00 p.m., the day before the course starts, to be eligible for a full refund. To qualify for a refund, you must also submit your child's final report card, showing a passing grade. In the event of cancellation without proof of passing grade, a penalty of $125 will be applied. Cancellations made after 4:00 p.m., the day before the start of the course, will not be refunded.
The final exam will be completed remotely and will use the online monitoring platform Nexam. The final exam requires the use of a laptop or desktop computer ONLY. Tablets are not supported for the final exam. It is the parent's responsibility to provide access to a computer with an updated Google Chrome web browser for optimal functionality.
The final assessment, conducted entirely online, will evaluate the following competency:
Competency 1: Characterize a period in the history of Québec and Canada; Interpret a social reality.
