Retaking ministry exams
Students who fail a compulsory subject for their high school diploma can retake the failed ministry exam through School Success Academy. The Fall 2025 registration period for Ministry exam retakes has closed. Eligibility requirement
To be eligible for a Ministry exam retake, the student must have completed the corresponding course. We send all results directly to the Québec Ministry of Education, and the final score will appear on the student's official academic transcript (relevé des apprentissages).Important: All Ministry exam retakes must be completed in person. Please make sure you can attend one of the available service points, which will be listed in the registration form.
Note: These Ministry exams are administered in French only.
