What is the preparatory support?
A 10-hour individual preparatory support package, designed to help students review priority concepts, ask their questions, and prepare for the retake according to their availability. It is not a full summer course, nor a guaranteed official preparation: it is individual support focused on the exam retake.

Can a Ministry exam retake be done online in Québec?
No. Whether with l'École Succès Scolaire or any other organization, a Ministry exam retake must take place in person, at a recognized service point, in accordance with the requirements of the Ministère de l'Éducation du Québec.
Are Ministry exam retakes available for English-sector students?
No. Ministry exam retakes offered by l'École Succès Scolaire are for French-sector (francophone) courses only. If your child is enrolled in the English sector, we invite you to check with your school board for retake options.
How do I choose the location for the exam retake?
When you register at ecole.successcolaire.ca, you choose the city or service point that best suits your family. The exact passation details are then confirmed by email.
Does registering for the exam retake include tutoring?
No, registration alone gives access to the Ministry exam. To help your child arrive better prepared, l'École Succès Scolaire offers an option with 10 hours of individual preparatory tutoring, which can be added to your registration.
Does the preparatory support replace a full summer course?
No. Preparatory support at l'École Succès Scolaire is not a fixed-schedule summer course: it is individual support targeted at the priority concepts for the retake. It's a flexible solution, particularly well suited to students who work in the summer or have limited availability.
How do I add the 10-hour preparatory support to my registration?

How much does a Ministry exam retake cost at l'École Succès Scolaire?
An exam retake costs $150 tax included per subject at l'École Succès Scolaire.
How much does the exam retake with 10 hours of preparatory support cost?
The recommended option from l'École Succès Scolaire, combining the exam retake with 10 hours of personalized individual tutoring, costs $667.49 tax included, a rate that includes a $40 discount on the tutoring package.
Are the tutoring hours for retake preparation flexible?
Yes. At l'École Succès Scolaire, the schedule for the 10 hours of individual tutoring is set based on the student's and tutor's availability. Families must still offer enough available time slots to complete the hours before the exam date.
